​Anne Klibanski, MD
Dr. Klibanski is Chief of the Neuroendocrine Unit and the Director of the Neuroendocrine and Pituitary Tumor Clinical Center. She is the Laurie Carrol Guthart Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School (HMS) and is also the Chief Academic Officer of Partners HealthCare. Dr. Klibanski is the Principal Investigator of many studies in the Neuroendocrine Unit.

​Alexander Faje, MD
Alexander Faje, MD is a staff member in the Neuroendocrine Unit. His research is focused on the clinical care of neuroendocrine disorders and syndromes of hormone hypersecretion and pituitary insufficiency.

Anu Gerweck, NP
Anu received her Master's degree in Nursing from the MGH Institute of Health Professions. She is an AANP board certified Adult Nurse Practitioner. Before joining the Neuroendocrine Research Unit, Anu worked at MGH as an inpatient adult oncology nurse. Anu is involved in studies investigating the role of growth hormone in bone health and obesity; she works with healthy volunteers and with acromegaly patients.


​Karen Miller, MD
Karen K. Miller, MD is a faculty member in the Neuroendocrine Unit and Associate Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School. She is the Principal Investigator of several of the studies being conducted by the Neuroendocrine Unit. Her research interests include the neuroendocrine regulation of body composition and brain function with a focus on hormone deficiency and excess states.

​Laura Dichtel, MD
Dr. Laura Dichtel is a clinical and research fellow in the Neuroendocrine Unit. She is on the study staff of several of the studies being conducted in the unit. Her research interests include growth hormone and related disorders (including acromegaly and growth hormone deficiency) as well as cortisol and related disorders (including Cushing’s syndrome). She also has a particular interest in women’s health issues in endocrinology, specifically hormonal treatments for depression in women.

Sylvia Perry, NP
Sylvia Perry received her Master’s in Nursing degree from the MGH Institute of Health Professions, and B.A. from Yale College. She is an ANCC board certified Adult Nurse Practitioner. Sylvia has 10 years of clinical practice experience as a primary care nurse practitioner. In the Neuroendocrine Research Unit, Sylvia works on various studies focused around the neurobiology of food motivation pathways in eating disorders, and the metabolic and central effects of the neurohormone oxytocin.


Elizabeth Lawson, MD
Dr. Lawson is a neuroendocrinologist and Director of the Interdisciplinary Oxytocin Research Program at Massachusetts General Hospital, and an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School. Her research interests include the neurobiology of food motivation pathways in eating disorders, and the metabolic and central effects of the neurohormone oxytocin.

​Melanie Schorr, MD
Dr. Schorr is a clinical and research fellow in the Neuroendocrine Unit. She is on the study staff of several of the studies being conducted in the unit. Her research interests include hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal axis function across the weight spectrum.



​Pouneh Fazeli, MD
Pouneh K. Fazeli, MD MPH is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School and an attending physician in the Neuroendocrine Unit at MGH.
Dr. Fazeli is an NIH-funded investigator with a strong interest in amenorrhea and its downstream effects including bone loss. Dr. Fazeli is currently investigating the effects of teriparatide on bone mass in women with anorexia nervosa.

Erinne Meenaghan, NP
Erinne Meenaghan received her Master's degree in Nursing from the Yale University School of Nursing. She is an ANCC board certified Adult Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. Before joining the Neuroendocrine Research Unit, Erinne worked in Emergency Psychiatric Care and as an outpatient psychiatric nurse practitioner. Erinne is involved in adult studies investigating the role of neuroendocrine regulation of anxiety and depression, bone loss and food motivation pathways in eating disorders.
